Organizational Overview

Manet Community Health Center is an independent, not-for-profit federally qualified health center with a mission to ensure quality, comprehensive health care for all. Founded in 1979, Manet serves the broad health needs of South Shore residents, each year serving more than 23,187 patients in over 84, 196 patient visits.

Demonstrating it meets the highest standards of quality, Manet is accredited by The Joint Commission and is recognized as a Health Center Quality Leader by the Health Resources Administration (HRSA) and a Patient-Centered Medical Home by the National Committee for Health Assurance (NCQA). Manet’s Diabetes Program is accredited by the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE) and all five sites are PCMH Prime certified by the Health Policy Commission, recognizing the health center’s integration of behavioral health. Manet has earned distinction of “LGBTQ Healthcare Equality Leader,” according to the Human Rights Campaign’s Health Equality Index (HEI) 2020.
