Marjanna Barber-Dubois, Quality Manager

Meet Manet’s new Quality Manager, Marjanna Barber-Dubois! Marjanna has honed her quality improvement skills over the past 12 years in several different roles. Most recently, she served as a Quality and Safety Specialist at Rutland Regional Medical Center in Rutland, VT, where she also served as Quality Improvement Facilitator for the Vermont Blueprint for Health grant in Rutland and community benefits supervisor. Previously, Marjanna worked for 10 years as an EMT and Paramedic, including four years as the Continuous Quality Improvement Manager for Twin City Ambulance who revamped their quality improvement program from the ground up.

Motivated by an excitement for how data can be used to improve organizations and processes, Marjanna holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Brandeis University. She is an avid Red Sox fan.

Shirley Fajardo, Operations Manager

Shirley Fajardo joined Manet as Operations Manager in November and has taken the helm of front-end operations for Manet’s five practice sites. Shirley is a talented leader with proven management experience in a non-profit community agency setting. She worked her way up the ranks at Action for Community Development (ABCD) in Boston, serving first as a youth services specialist, then as a case manager, then a neighborhood client services coordinator and finally as director, overseeing two neighborhood service centers. Shirley earned a Bachelor of Political Science and Psychology degree at Tufts University, and both a Certificate in Nonprofit Management and a Master of Public Administration degree at Suffolk University.

As Manet’s Operations Manager, Shirley supports the health center’s customer service, mission-driven approach to delivering operational support and customer service excellence to patients and staff. Shirley speaks fluent Spanish.

Sarah Follensbee, Chief of Staff of Process Improvement

Sara Follensbee has been promoted to Manet’s first ever Chief of Staff of Process Improvement. Sarah came to the health center almost a year ago as Quality Manager and made remarkable contributions with clinical staff across the organization on patient safety and quality improvement initiatives. In this new role, Sarah is focused on ensuring operational excellence by collaborating with colleagues across the organization on clinical operations, process improvement and operational performance goals and outcomes. As the leader for the Operations Team, Sarah will use her considerable process improvement, data utilization and project management skills to teach and deliver thoughtful, logical, innovative and creative solutions to optimize Manet’s outpatient services.

A Rhode Island native, Sarah previously served as a performance liaison supervisor for Steward Health Care. She holds a Master’s degree in Health Care Administration from Salve Regina University in Rhode Island and a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology from the University of Vermont.

Ed Moran, IT Director

Manet welcomes Ed Moran as our new IT Director! Ed comes to Manet with over 20 year of experience in Information Technology. Prior to arriving at Manet, he was Director of IT for Blount Fine Foods, where, during his six-year tenure, he developed a nationwide team, technology policies and procedures, and a secure, scalable infrastructure. Ed has a degree in Management Information Systems from Northeastern University and carries multiple certifications, including VMware Certified Professional, Cisco Certified Network Associate and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.

Ed will lead the daily operational management of the Manet IT Department, including oversight and development of the IT Team, and he will work closely with Manet’s leadership team to develop and deploy strategic initiatives.
