Duties Include the Following
- Build reports to extract data from the electronic health record (EHR) and facilitate analysis, monitoring and reporting of quality data.
- Support data management and validation efforts for the EHR and Population Management tool such as Azara – Data Reporting and Visualization Systems (DRVS).
- Monitor and extract reports from patient disease and high risk registries and formulate population level outcomes data to facilitate quality improvement efforts.
- Develop and manage provider scorecards and clinical quality dashboards to include reporting of quality metrics from the Payors, Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and Uniform Data Systems (UDS).
- Perform routine medical chart audits to ensure quality and completeness of clinical data recorded.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of clinical quality metric requirements and how they are satisfied in EHR.
- Recognize, diagnose and communicate data inconsistencies and identify opportunities to improve documentation to support required data entry and reporting.
- Perform data extraction, manipulation, hygiene/cleaning, analysis and quality assurance of complex clinical data and generate ad-hoc reports.
- Identify and interpret patterns or trends and present analytical findings in a variety of formats (reports, graphs, figures and tables).
Experience and Education include
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, related field or foreign equivalent
