Headache Disease by the Numbers
According to the Coalition for Headache and Migraine Patients (CHAMP):

  • 16% of U.S. adults report experiencing migraine or severe headache
  • 40–50% of people with migraine disease are undiagnosed
  • There are over 150 types of headache disorders, each with unique symptoms

Many symptoms of headache disease go unrecognized. Facial pain, for example, can be a lesser-known sign. Learn more about symptoms from the National Headache Foundation.
