Manet’s CEO Cynthia Sierra is Mass League of Community Health Centers’ CEO of the Year
With hundreds of health center leaders, board members, staff and supporters on hand from across the Commonwealth, Manet’s CEO was among the honorees at the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers annual gala on June 2 at the Westin Copley Place in Boston.
Cynthia received the Community Health Center Outstanding CEO Award for her considerable contributions to Manet and the community health center movement. These contributions included orchestrating the health center’s financial turnaround, significantly expanding services and enhancing programs throughout the Manet system, addressing the ongoing and changing needs of the many communities served by Manet including through new locations in Quincy, Taunton and Attleboro, and providing unparalleled leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition to the CEO Award, presented by Michael Curry, Mass League President & CEO (2nd from left), and Elizabeth Browne, Chair of the League’s Board of Directors (far right), Cynthia (2nd from right) was presented with a citation from State Representatives Carol Doherty (center) and Joan Meschino (far left) on behalf of the Massachusetts House of Representatives.
