Kevin Silva
Who says you can’t go home again? Well, author Thomas Wolfe did, but that hasn’t stopped Kevin Silva from returning to his “home” at Manet. And Manet is pleased to welcome Kevin back, this time joining the senior management team as Senior Director of Operations.
“Kevin is a welcomed colleague who brings with him a profound respect for health centers. This is an inspiring time to collaborate with Kevin in this senior position as we are readying for the launch of our new strategic roadmap,” says Cynthia Sierra, Chief Executive Officer.
As senior director of operations, Kevin assumes leadership for the many broad elements affecting the practice experience, such as scheduling, the check-in and check-out process, front desk operations, HIT/IT and facilities. While his office is situated in North Quincy, he will be present and available at all the sites to ensure operational support and excellence across all five Manet practice locations in Quincy, Hull and Taunton.
A lifelong resident of the South Shore, Kevin’s history with Manet began more than a decade ago, when he worked at the health center while attending Suffolk University, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree. During that time, he also completed a Certificate Program in Community Health and Community Health Center Management in partnership with the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers and the Suffolk University/Sawyer Business School/Moakley Center for Public Management. He went on to served as Manager of Patient and Community Services at North Shore Community Health Center and as a Practice Manager at Health Express for four years before returning to Manet as Practice Manager and Director from 2016 to 2018. He also served as a paramedic and firefighter for the Cohasset Fire Department for more than seven years.
