With changes to health coverage coming in 2027, taking a few steps now can help you stay covered and avoid interruptions in your care.

A few key things to know:

• The Massachusetts Health Connector Open Enrollment window is longer this year, allowing more time to enroll in health insurance. Open Enrollment will run from October 23, 2026, through January 23, 2027.

• For those ages 19–64, a new federal law may impact MassHealth coverage. You may need to work, attend school or volunteer and renew your coverage every six months. Click here to learn more.

What can I do now?

• Make sure your contact information is up to date. Check that your email address, mailing address and phone number are current in your Health Connector account so you can receive notifications about changes that may affect you, important dates and other updates.

• Read and, if necessary, respond to correspondence you receive from MassHealth or the Health Connector. Not taking timely action could result in a loss of coverage.
