Every August, the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) sponsors National Health Center Week to celebrate and increase awareness of America’s 1,512 Community Health Centers. The week highlights the commitment of patients, staff, board members, and supporters who make it possible to provide quality, comprehensive healthcare to 52 million patients across more than 17,000 communities. Manet marked the occasion with special events in Taunton, North Quincy and Hull, staff appreciation treats throughout the week and patient and community appreciation tables at all sites.

With help from Congressman Jake Auchincloss, along with our supporters and partners, we cut the ribbon on our expanded Taunton site, featuring nine new exam rooms that will increase access to comprehensive care and services for our community. Following the ribbon-cutting, members of our state delegation, Manet board members and representatives from partner organizations joined us for a roundtable discussion.
