Volunteer Opportunities

At Manet Community Health Center, we believe everyone deserves quality, comprehensive health care, regardless of their personal circumstances. We work to remove barriers – financial, linguistic, transportation or other – to ensure patients receive the care they need and deserve. But we can’t do this alone. We welcome partnerships with individuals and organizations who share our vision and wish to contribute their time and talents to further our mission.

Manet is currently accepting volunteer to help with the following projects which be completed while socially distancing or working remotely:

Snack Bag Packing

Many patients we serve live in food insecure households. Manet’s Prevention and Outreach team is out in the community providing care, and has the opportunity to deliver much-needed nutrition. Consider working with your company to package healthy snack bags our team can distribute to those most in need.

Outdoor Grounds Projects

Manet has multiple sites in Quincy, Hull and Taunton that require upkeep with mulching, planting and spring clean-up. Great opportunity for an interactive group project outside.

Fundraising Event Committee

Join the planning committee for Manet’s signature community event, June Bloom. Help us re-imagine the event in 2021, and provide support with design, ticket sales, auction outreach, event logistics and more!

Drives for PPE/Medical Equipment

Support Manet by doing a drive for life-saving supplies including N-95 masks, face shields, gloves, sanitizer, and more. In-kind donations like these strengthen our bottom-line, keep medical staff safe and support community outreach to our most vulnerable neighbors.

Become a Health Center Advocate

The Health Center Advocacy Network – a robust network of over 175,000 Community Health Center Advocates – supports health centers in securing resources in order to thrive and care for all those in need in our communities through advocacy. If you would like to add your voice to the effort, become a Health Center Advocate. (Remember to select Manet as your organization!)
