Serving over 30,000 people in Greater Fall River and Taunton, programs include fuel assistance, weatherization, Head Start, WIC, SNAP, food pantry, family planning, after-school care, tax prep, and emergency housing help.

This program is an emergency shelter program to help families who are homeless. NeighborWorks® Housing Solutions (NHS) provides intense case management and transitional housing for 12 families.
Samaritan House

A sober transitional homeless shelter for men and women near Taunton’s Weir section. The property is owned by the Taunton Housing Authority and managed by Catholic Social Services as a homeless shelter through a Memorandum of Understanding between the two agencies. It has 20 beds on multiple floors and is staffed 24 hours a day. In addition to shelter, the program offers a wide range of supportive services including assessment, job skills training, budgeting information, and access to mental health and other needed services.
