Kara Kurtzman, MSW, LCSW joined Manet in January 2026 and works with adult patients at all Manet sites in Quincy
Kara earned her Master of Social Work at Simmons University in Boston. Before coming to Manet, Kara worked as a hospice social worker providing support to patients and their families and caregivers. She completed her clinical training at Ethos in Jamaica Plain and at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Weymouth. Prior to social work, Kara worked as a legal advocate at DOVE, Inc. and earned a graduate certificate in public policy at the McCormack School of Policy and Global Studies at UMass Boston.
Kara joined Manet because she believes providing comprehensive health care to all strengthens individuals as well as their communities.
