Can you tell us a little about your professional background?

Brooke Myers

I started in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant at sixteen while attending a local vocational high school. I worked to put myself through nursing school and earned my first degree from Massasoit Community College. Throughout my career, I’ve sought intentionally diverse experience, including intensive care units, medication-assisted treatment programs, federally qualified health centers and behavioral health clinics. Most recently, I led nursing operations at a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic in RI, overseeing nurses across five clinical sites, six residential programs, and a therapeutic school. These experiences have given me a broad perspective on healthcare and, more importantly, on the many factors that influence a person’s ability to access and trust care.

What brought you to Manet?

Coming to Manet feels like a meaningful return to my roots. I grew up in southeastern Massachusetts, and Manet embodies my personal care philosophy: caring for community by creating community. Manet has a pulse on the needs of the communities we serve. Because of that insight paired with thoughtful action, Manet is not a reactionary responder to community illness. Instead, Manet is embedded, equipped, willing and able, positioning us to support the wellness of the families we serve.

What are you hoping to bring to the Manet team and to the patient experience?

I hope to bring clinical leadership, accountability, curiosity, and genuine partnership. For our patients, I want every interaction with Manet to reinforce that they are being heard, respected, and cared for as a whole person. Excellent patient experiences don’t happen because of one initiative or one department; they happen when the entire organization aligns with the patient and moves in lockstep toward their wellness goals.
