How can I take my medications when I can’t afford to fill my prescriptions?
How can I get to my appointment when I don’t have transportation?

These are questions our patients ask. These are real concerns, and we answer them.

“There are a lot of tears shed within these exam room walls. Our patients come from a wide range of communities…some of whom speak little or no English. A significant number are struggling with opioid use disorder, homelessness, and the daily challenges of poverty,” explains Charlette Hines, FNP-BC, lead provider at Manet’s Attleboro site. “For many, our health center is a place refuge—a place where they can get the care/support they so desperately need. We believe that our work goes beyond medical care—we’re giving our patients hope. Hope that their health will improve. Hope that they’ll have access to the medications, food, and transportation they need to focus on their wellbeing. Hope that they can break the cycle of despair and take control of their lives again.”

Together, our providers and a deep bench of professionals work to ensure our patients have access to the services they need and they receive the “whole person” care deserve. The team includes primary care providers, behavioral health clinicians, nurses, medical assistants, care managers, registered dietitians, community health specialists, recovery coaches, health insurance navigators, interpreters and others, who listen and help patients address their challenges, whether it’s food or housing insecurity, transportation, language or other issues. Patients appreciate and respond to this extra level of care and compassion.

“No matter what day I am having, Charlette listens intently,” says one grateful patient. “She provides guidance and never lets me down. I have never felt rushed, but instead feel heard and deeply respected. She addresses every concern that I have and answers every single question without rushing me, giving me complete confidence in her deliberate, well-planned care for my health.”
This is the type of care that patients can expect when they come to any one of Manet’s eight practice locations in Attleboro, Hull, Quincy or Taunton. And this is the type of care that your donations make possible.

Donor support not only enables us to offer services, such as interpretation and translation, transportation assistance, recovery and community health specialist support, that mean so much to our patients it also provides funds for tangible things like IT upgrades, equipment and facility improvements and expansion.

Will you consider making or renewing a gift this holiday season to help us provide our patients with the care and support they need and instill hope for a healthy tomorrow? Your donation, no matter the size, will make a difference, and your friendship and goodwill are invaluable.

Thank you for your generosity. Happy holidays and best wishes for good health and peace in the New Year!

Warm regards,

Grace Murphy-McAuliffe, President, Board of Directors
