Joseph Peppe, MD, is Chief Medical Officer
of Manet Community Health Center. He joined Manet in October 2010, making him only the third Chief Medical Officer in our 30-year history.
Dr. Peppe is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Family Medicine, Boston University, and an Attending Physician at Boston Medical Center. He earned his Medical Degree from the University
of Massachusetts and completed his internship and residency in Boston University's Family Medicine Program.
Prior to joining Manet, he was Associate Medical Director at South Boston Community
Health Center, where he chaired the Quality Improvement Committee. He serves on the Boston University Family
Medicine Clinical Quality Committee and the Neighborhood Health Plan Pharmacy
and Therapeutics Committee. He has been involved in directing the Family Medicine residency at Boston University Medical Center.
As Manet's Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Peppe helps to ensure consistency and continuity of care across our five practice sites, along with overseeing the professional
development of the medical staff. In addition, he provides clinical care services to patients in our North Quincy
location.
