Manet’s Laboratory Services

Manet offers laboratory services at all sites. All sites with the exception of Manet at Qunicy Medical Center (QMC) have Lab staff on-site during the day to collect laboratory specimens. Manet at QMC you direct you to the QMC laboratory on-site for specimen collection.

Our laboratories offer a limited number of In-house rapid testing methods such as but not limited to: Urinalysis, Urine Pregnancy tests and Glucose testing so that these results are immediately available to your Provider for decision making at the time of your visit.

Your Provider may find it necessary to order more detailed testing that requires your specimen(s) to be sent to a larger reference laboratory such as: Quincy Medical Center or Quest Diagnostics. Your Insurance Carrier (such as: BC/BS or FreeCare) determines which reference lab your specimens are sent to. Depending on your Insurance Carrier you may receive bills from the reference laboratory for these services. It is your responsibility to handle any bills received from a reference laboratory as every Insurance Carrier provides different coverage for laboratory testing. Your Insurance Carrier is the only one who can supply you with the details of your covered laboratory services. Special Note: Please check with your insurance provider or review your summary of benefits, evidence of coverage, or other plan information to be aware of any out-of-pocket expenses you may incur relation to lab services.
