Billing and Insurance
If you do not have insurance:
We can help you apply for MassHealth, Commonwealth Care, or Commonwealth Choice. These programs are based on your income, family size, residency and other guidelines. We have reduced fees for those with no insurance coverage.
If you have Medicare or MassHealth:
We participate in both Medicare and MassHealth. We also accept Commonwealth Care plans from BMCHP and NHP. We currently participate in Primary Care Clinician (PCC), Neighborhood Health Plan (NHP) and Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan (BMCHNP). Tufts Medicare Preferred is our only managed Medicare plan.
If you have a Medicare or MassHealth managed plan and have chosen someone else as your primary care provider, you will need to call the phone number on your insurance card to change your primary care provider to a Manet physician.
If you have commercial insurance:
We accept most commercial insurance plans, such as:

- Harvard Pilgrim Health Care

- Unicare (Cost Care) and Commonwealth Indemnity
- United HealthCare
If you do not see your plan listed, please call our billing department at 617-376-3000 to find out if we accept your insurance. The above list is accurate as of 03/25/08.
You may choose us as your primary care provider if we participate in your plan.
To choose your primary care provider, call your insurance plan's member services department. The number is listed on your insurance card. If you are not sure about your coverage, you should call your insurance plan member services department to discuss your benefits. We expect you to pay your co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles. If you are having trouble paying these, please call our billing department to discuss your options.
